Second Half

Kevin and I have been together for just under 7 years and engaged since March. We're getting married in June so I've been starting to think about save-the-dates. I decided to take our engagement photos myself since I didn't want to pay some schmuck hundreds of dollars for some cheesy photos of Kevin giving me the typical awkward piggy-back ride. I wouldn't be surprised if I try to set my tripod up at the end of the aisle on our wedding day; running back and forth in my dress to reset the timer.

Kevin likes taking pictures about as much as he enjoys me tweezing his unibrow. He was a real sport though and drove us to this quaint little nearby town that I insisted we take our photos at. It's just a one-street town lined with vintage shops and ice cream parlors... basically my idea of heaven.

We had some people staring, and a girl actually yelled from across the street, "I LOVE YOUR OUTFIT!" She may have been talking to Kevin, but I yelled back "THANK YOU!!!" and couldn't stop smiling the rest of the night.

The only problem was that we became dinner for about 800 mosquitoes. I leaned in for a kiss in one photo and found that a giant mosquito had already beat me to it. It was sucking on his cheek and I screamed and slapped Kevin's face. We're so romantic.

Here are some of my favorites. You can view them all here.
