Take 5 - Denim Jacket

Despite my reservations (it feels like the early 90’s are coming back to haunt me) I have finally caved and bought a faded denim jacket – although a thrifted one which cost little (< £5).  Sometimes it takes me a while to accept that a fashion might be right for me and this is one of those times (hope the trend isn’t passed before I get some wear out of it).

Thrifted printed skirt, House of Fraser suede wedges, beige top (unknown), Thrifted brown beads.

I read Trudi from Wardrobe Flair's jacket advice recently and was pleased to see that denim jackets shouldn’t really go with jeans (an instinctual feeling I also had).  I think my favourite option is the striped skirt, although it didn't photograph as well as I hoped.  Hopefully this jacket will be another thing that is useful as I go back to NZ spring.  As you can see it all got a bit silly towards the end!
